Located outside of Cape Breton Island in Mulgrave, Nova Scotia, this 5000 sq ft Mansion House has a style all its own. The property is on 10 acres of land with ponds & ATV trails. A luxurious upscale place to spend a few nights during your visit to world-famous Cabot trails. With high-end finishings, marble & hardwood floors, 2 balconies looking Strait of Canso, you will enjoy your stay. Whether it is a girls getaway, a special occasion with your loved one, or a family vacation, this is for you.
The space
When you are driving up the hill to the property you will feel like you are being led in the wrong direction.
This is far from the truth. When you pull into the property you will drive past two beautiful ponds on the right and will drive up to a large estate.
The main floor has
- A fully equipped kitchen with a large family room, dining table and sectional sofa and large 65” TV to entertain your family and guests.
- a large naturally lit dining room with marble floors
- a separate furnished study area
- A separate formal living furnished with high-end antique furniture and a bedroom off furnished with a queen-sized bed.
On the second story to the right is a large bedroom with a king-sized bed, full bath and balcony. Down the hallway, which crosses overlooking the dining area, a 2nd bedroom with a queen-sized bed and a full bathroom.
Down the hallway is the Grand Master Retreat. This room is equipped with an antique canopy king-sized bed, sofa, study table, walk-in shower, whirlpool tub, twin sinks, walk-in closet and a balcony overlooking the Strait of Canso.
ATV tours are available by the independent ATV operator in the area, and we can provide you the contact number if you are interested in booking ATV tours.
Guest access
Guests will have access to the entire property with the exception of the barn which is currently under construction.
Other things to note
Please bring firewood if you plan to use the fireplace outdoor or indoors. Only one indoor fireplace in the family/room kitchen area is allowed to use for safety and maintenance purposes.
